Privacy Policy
JustPick recommends one movie or TV show at a time. It does not stream or host video. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account: email address, password (stored by our auth provider), and display name.
- Preferences: country, streaming services, genres, runtime and rating preferences.
- App activity: recommendations shown, saved lists, notes, ratings, and watch/feedback signals you provide.
- Technical: basic server logs needed to operate the service (for example request timing and errors).
How we use information
- To create and secure your account
- To personalize recommendations and remember your lists
- To operate, maintain, and improve JustPick
- To communicate about account or service issues
Service providers
- Supabase: authentication and database hosting for account and preference data.
- Render: application hosting for the JustPick web service.
- TMDB: title metadata used to generate recommendations. We query TMDB through our servers; TMDB content remains subject to TMDB’s terms.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run JustPick, or when required by law. If you make a list shareable, people with the link may see that list’s titles and cover art.
Data retention
We keep account and preference data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account data by contacting us using the email on the Contact page.
Children
JustPick is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
